- 1 lb. cooking apples, peeled and sliced thin
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. seedless golden raisins
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell and top
Directions

1Lay out shell.

2Arrange apples in shell.

3Sprinkle lemon juice. Sprinkle nutmeg and cinnamon.

4Spread sugar.

5Spread raisins.

6Mix brown sugar and flour and spread over all.

10Put on top crust.

11Brush lightly with milk. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.
