- 6 to 8 tart apples, peeled and cut in eighths
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/3 c. butter
Directions

1Arrange apples in pie shell.

2Mix 1/2 cup sugar with cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.

3Mix remaining sugar with flour; cut in butter until crumbly.

4Sprinkle over top.

5Bake at 400° for 40 minutes.
