- 2 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 envelope dry yeast
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 1/4 tsp. salt
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water.

2Combine all other ingredients (flour last) and knead thoroughly.

3(Really punch it out.)

4Punch down every 10 minutes for 1 hour.

5Divide in half and let rise 10 minutes to 1 hour.

6Roll into jelly roll.

7Use rolling pin to roll out.

8Then roll like jelly roll.

9Let rise 1 to 1 1/2 hours on a well-greased cookie sheet.

10Bake 30 minutes at 400°.

11Brush with butter immediately from oven.
