  • 3/4 cup vanilla cookie crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped

    Combine cookie crumbs with butter and press into 8-inch pie plate or springform pan.

    Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes.

    Cream butter and sugar until mixture is light.
