Ingredients

  • 4 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 5 oz. Crisco oil
  • 2 1/2 oz. tarragon vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • about 1 Tbsp. sweet basil

Directions

    Shake up first 4 ingredients together in an 8 ounce screw-top jar.

    Put some of the oil and vinegar in the jar and shake it until mixed.

    Put the rest of the oil and vinegar in and shake well.

    Put in the minced garlic and sweet basil.

    Shake some more.

    Keep in fridge and shake before using.

    Makes almost a cupful.

    You can use olive oil, but it hardens in the fridge.
