  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 2 c. warm buttermilk

    Mix yeast and water. Set aside. Mix flour, soda, sugar and cut in Crisco.

    Add yeast to buttermilk and mix until dough is elastic.

    Then put desired amount on floured board and knead lightly.
