French Meat Pie

- 1 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1 medium onion
- 4 medium potatoes
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (9-inch) pie crust (homemade or store bought)
Directions

1Fry pork until all pink is gone.

2Add onions and cook 5 minutes more.

3Drain off fat.

4Add seasonings.

5Boil potatoes and mash with milk until stiff, not whipped.

6Add to meat mixture and blend well.

7Put in pie crust.

8Cover edges with foil so they won't overcook.

9Cook at 400° for 1 hour.

10Place on cookie sheet in case juices run over.
