- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 c. finely shredded lettuce
- 1 tsp. canola oil
- 1 tsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas or fresh peas, cooked
- 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
- dash of black pepper
Directions

1In a saucepan, cook onions and lettuce in oil for 5 minutes. Set aside.

2Combine flour with water and add to onion mixture. Cook, stirring until thickened.

3Add peas, water chestnuts and pepper.

4Heat through and serve.
