  • family size pkg. frozen peas
  • 1 can drained bean sprouts
  • 1 can Campbell's mushroom soup
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced and drained
  • 1 small can French fried onions
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • small amount oleo

Directions

    Saute onion in small amount of oleo.

    Barely cook peas (leave crunchy!).

    Mix all ingredients, topping casserole with the French fried onions.

    Bake in a 350° oven until bubbly, about 25 to 30 minutes.

    Serves 10 to 12.

    Leftovers may be frozen!
