- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can onion soup
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 (4 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, undrained
- 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, undrained
- 1 c. uncooked regular rice
Directions

1Combine soup and butter.

2Stir. Drain mushrooms and water chestnuts. Save liquid.

3Add enough water to reserved liquid to make 1 1/3 cups.

4Add mushrooms, chestnuts, liquid and rice to soup.

5Stir and pour into greased 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish. Bake at 350° covered for 1 hour.
