  • 1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. whipping cream or 1 (2 oz.) envelope whipped topping mix, prepared
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, sweetened strawberries, thawed
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
