  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 3 c. fresh apples, diced
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine oil and sugar.

    Add eggs and beat thoroughly.

    Add well sifted flour, salt and soda.

    Mix well, then add chopped nuts, fresh apples and vanilla by hand.

    Bake in tube pan for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours at 350°.
