  • 1 1/4 c. Wesson oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 3 medium apples, chopped

Directions

    Beat together oil, sugar and eggs.

    Add flour, salt, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, nuts and apples.

    Batter will be very thick. Spoon into greased tube pan.

    Bake at 325° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Glaze, if desired.
