  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. cake flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. chopped apples
  • 2 c. chopped pecans

    Cream together oil and sugar; beat in eggs.

    Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.

    Add to first ingredients and mix well.

    Then add apples and pecans.

    Bake at 350° for about 1 1/2 hours in tube cake pan.
