- pie crust for 2-crust pie
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. Gold Medal flour
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- dash of salt
- 6 c. sliced, pared tart apples (about 5 medium)
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Directions

1Heat oven to 425°.

2Prepare pastry for 2-crust pie.

3Stir together sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt.

4Mix lightly with apples.

5Pour into pastry lined pie pan.

6Dot with butter. Cover with top crust and cut slits.

7Seal and flute.

8Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until crust is brown and juices bubble through slits.
