- 1 c. chopped onions
- 3/4 c. green pepper
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. white or yellow cornmeal
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. water
