- 1 c. sugar, divided (use more sugar if fruit is quite tart)
- 4 c. fresh fruit
- 1 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Melt butter in baking dish.

3Sprinkle 1/2 sugar over fruit and set aside.

4Combine remaining sugar, flour and baking powder.

5Add milk and mix well.

6Pour mixture into dish.

8Do not stir.

9Bake 55 to 60 minutes.
