- 1 c. oats (quick or old-fashioned), uncooked
- 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. margarine, melted
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 c. water
- 6 c. (6 to 8) medium apples, peaches or pears, peeled and sliced
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Combine oats, brown sugar, margarine and cinnamon.

3Set aside.

4Combine remaining ingredients except fruit. Add fruit slices, tossing to coat.

5Spoon into 8-inch square glass baking dish.

6Top with oat mixture.

7Bake 40 or 50 minutes or until fruit is tender.
