  • 1 (8 oz.) plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1/4 c. unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon, nutmeg or ginger
  • 3 c. assorted, sliced, fresh fruit: pineapple chunks, strawberries, apple slices or peach slices

Directions

    In a small bowl, stir together yogurt, applesauce, powdered sugar, vanilla and cinnamon, nutmeg or ginger.

    To serve, spear fruit with toothpicks, then dip into yogurt mixture.

    Makes 6 (3 tablespoon) servings with 87 calories each.
