Fresh Peach Crisp

  • 8 ripe peaches (about 2 1/2 lb.)
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. soft butter or margarine

Directions

    Place sliced peaches in a greased 8 x 8-inch baking dish. Combine flour, salt, sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl.

    Blend margarine in flour mixture. Should be coarse like cornmeal. Sprinkle mixture evenly over peaches. Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 375° until golden brown and peaches are tender. Can serve with cream or ice cream.
