- 2 c. fresh basil leaves or parsley or spinach, washed and drained
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 c. walnuts
- 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2/3 c. olive oil
Directions

1Combine fresh leaves and garlic in a food processor.

2Blend into a fine paste, scraping sides often.

3Add walnuts and cheese. Process until smooth, but slightly grainy.

4Pour olive oil through feed tube slowly with machine running.

5Mix until smooth.

6Makes about 1 1/2 cups.

7Use within one month.

8Store in refrigerator.
