Fresh-Squeezed Limeade

  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (from 5 limes)
  • 1/4 cup Simple Syrup (recipe follows)
  • 1 quart water
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar

Directions

    In a medium pitcher, combine all of the ingredients and stir.

    Chill and serve ice cold.

    In a saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil over high heat.

    Boil for 1 minute, stirring to dissolve the sugar completely.

    Remove from the heat and cool to room temperature.

    Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
