Fried Breakfast Banana Bread

  • 1 small banana
  • 1/4 tablespoon butter
  • 1 slice multigrain bread (preferably made from scratch)
  • *optional: pinch of nutmeg

    1) Slice the banana into circles 1/2 inch thick

    2) Heat up very thin crepe pan over the stove and place the slices of banana flat down on the surface
  3. 3
    3) Cover and let the side down brown
  4. 4
    4) Prepare a slice of bread by warming/toasting it and buttering the top-side of it
  5. 5
    5) After the first side of the banana slices are fried, flip them with a metal spatula and let that side brown (covered again)

    6) Remove the fried banana slices and placed on buttered-top of toast

    7) Enjoy (*optional: add a pinch of nutmeg on top)
