- 1 fryer, cut into parts
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. cooking oil
Directions

1Mix flour, salt and pepper in a plastic bag.

2Add one or two pieces of chicken at a time in the bag and shake to coat thoroughly.

3In large frypan, place oil and heat to high temperature (425°).

4Add chicken, skin side down, and cook for 10 minutes, turning often or until brown on all sides.

5Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and cook about 20 minutes longer or until fork inserts into chicken with ease.

6Serves 4.
