- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 to 2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1 to 2 tsp. pepper
- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken pieces
- vegetable oil
Directions

1In plastic bag, combine flour, seasoned salt and pepper.

2Wash chicken pieces and pat dry with paper towels.

3Place chicken pieces, a few at a time, in flour mixture.

4Seal bag and shake to coat.

5In large skillet pour 1/2 inch oil.

6Heat oil and brown chicken a few pieces at a time.

7Remove to baking dish.

8When all chicken is browned, bake chicken, covered, in 250° oven 30 minutes or until chicken is tender and juices run clear when tested with fork.

9For crispy skin uncover during last 10 minutes of baking.
