- 4 to 6 slices crisp fried bacon (reserve grease)
- 10 to 12 ears fresh corn
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- water
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cut and scrape corn from cob (juicy corn works best).

2Add a little water, the fried bacon (crumbled), sugar, salt and pepper (I use lots of pepper) to reserved grease.

3Stir in corn.

4Bring to a boil and simmer until corn is tender, adding water as needed.
