- 2 medium or 1 large green tomato
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. cooking oil
- onion salt
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Wash and cut tomatoes in 1/2-inch slices.

2Salt and pepper. Sprinkle onion salt on slices.

3Cover in flour one at a time.

4Put 1 1/2 cups of oil in frypan on medium-high heat.

5Fry tomatoes, turning once.

6Brown lightly.

7Drain on paper towel or brown paper bag.
