  • 24 oysters
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1 c. bread crumbs

Directions

    Drain oysters.

    Beat eggs with seasonings.

    Add water and mix. Dip oysters into egg mixture, then into crumbs.

    Let stand 5 minutes before frying.

    Fry in hot deep fat until brown.
