- 1 pt. oysters
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- vegetable oil
Directions

1Combine flour, baking powder, salt and pepper.

2Stir milk in mixture to make a thin batter.

3Add the oysters, without liquor, to batter and stir.

4Heat the oil in frying pan.

5When hot, spoon oysters individually with generous amount of batter.

6Fry oysters on both sides until golden brown.
