- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. Crisco
- 2 whole eggs
- 1 large can evaporated cream
- apples, peaches, raisins, pineapple or apricots
Directions

1Mix flour, baking powder, salt and shortening until fine.

2Mix eggs with cream.

3Combine with flour mixture.

4Beat until stretchy.

5Refrigerate overnight.

6Roll out circles using a small saucer as a guide.

7Fill with fruit that has been cooked, sweetened and cooled overnight.

8Wet edges with pastry brush dipped in water.

9Fold over filling; press with fork tines around edges.

10Fry in deep oil until golden brown.
