  • 1 1/2 c. rice
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 3 c. bouillon (use 4 cubes to 3 c. water)
  • 3/4 c. grated carrots
  • 3/4 c. diced celery
  • 3/4 c. chopped parsley or 2 tsp. dehydrated
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds

    Brown rice in butter. add bouillon. Bake in covered 1 1/2-quart casserole 30 minutes in a 375° oven. Stir in vegetables and nuts. Cover and bake 10 minutes more.
