Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. crab boil
  • 10 to 12 small red potatoes
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 to 2 lb. kielbasi, sliced in 3-inch sections
  • 10 to 12 midget frozen ears of corn
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 lb. medium shrimp (fresh if possible, with shells on)

Directions

    In a very large soup pot, bring water to a boil.

    Add unopened crab boil, potatoes and celery.
  3. 3
    Cook 1 to 2 hours, until potatoes are tender, but not overdone.

    Add kielbasi, corn and butter; cook for another 30 minutes.

    Add shrimp with shells on and cook until shrimp are pink (only 3 to 5 minutes).

    Break open package of crab boil and stir.

    Drain water and serve.

    Serves 8 to 10.
