- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. oatmeal
- 1 c. margarine, melted
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
- 12 oz. caramel topping
Directions

1Mix flour, sugar and oatmeal.

2Melt margarine; add to flour mixture, along with nuts.

3Spread evenly on a cookie sheet; bake for 15 minutes at 400°.

4Crumble while hot; cool.

5Put half of crumb mixture in bottom of 9 x 12-inch pan.

6Drizzle with 6 ounces caramel ice cream topping.

7Smooth 1/2 gallon softened vanilla ice cream over this.

8Top

9with remaining crumbs; drizzle with 6 more ounces caramel ice cream topping.

10Freeze.

11Do not use hot caramel topping.
