- 6 ounces dark chocolate, good quality
- 14 cup cream or 14 cup half-and-half
- sugar, to taste (optional)
- 3 cups ice
- whipped cream, garnish (optional)
- chocolate shavings, garnish (optional)
Directions

1Melt six ounces of good dark chocolate with a quarter cup of cream or half-and-half, being careful not to boil.

2Once the chocolate is melted, taste and add a little sugar if you like.

3Put it in the blender with three cups of ice and pulse until an even consistency is reached.

4Note: Do not blend too much as the consistency might become watery.

5Serve in small bowls or cups and garnish as desired.
