Frozen Punch

Ingredients

  • 6 c. sugar
  • 4 c. boiling water
  • 4 pkg. peach gelatin (3 oz. each)
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice
  • 2 (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice
  • 1 gal. water
  • 1 1/2 oz. almond extract
  • 2 liters chilled ginger ale

Directions

    Mix a syrup of sugar and boiling water. Add any flavor of gelatin to hot syrup.

    Stir well until dissolved. Cool syrup.

    Mix in lemonade, orange juice, pineapple juice, water and almond extract.

    Freeze.

    (Freezes well in five 1/2 gallon milk cartons.) Thaw at room temperature 3 hours before serving.

    Add ginger ale before serving.

    Punch should be slushy.
