Ingredients
- 1 medium head cabbage
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 grated carrot
- 1 finely chopped green pepper
- 1 c. white vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
Directions

1Shred cabbage and add salt.

2Let stand 1 hour.

3Squeeze out juice and add carrot and green pepper.

4While cabbage is standing or you may make this ahead:

5Combine vinegar, water, sugar, celery seed and dry mustard.

6Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute.

7Cool thoroughly and pour over cabbage mixture.

8Mix well.

9Place in containers and freeze.

10This may be refrozen and slaw still remains crisp.
