  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. pitted chopped dates
  • 1/2 lb. candied cherries
  • 5 slices candied pineapple, chopped
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 c. Crisco, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Mix first 7 ingredients together.

    Beat eggs, Crisco and vanilla.

    Combine all ingredients in large bowl.
  4. 4
    Bake in muffin tins in baking cups.
  5. 5
    Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Remove from pan.
  7. 7
    Leave in baking cups.
