Ingredients

  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 medium red apples, unpared and cubed
  • 1 c. pecans or walnuts
  • 1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries (optional)
  • 1 c. frozen whipped topping

Directions

    Combine rice, pineapple, marshmallows and sugar. Toss gently. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours.

    Fold in apples, cherries and nuts. Fold in whipped topping. Chill 1 hour.
