- 2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 stick oleo or butter
- 2 c. light brown sugar
- 1 c. flour
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs, beaten well
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries (red and green)
- 1/2 lb. candied chopped pineapple
Directions

1Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan with butter (oleo) and flour.

2Spread chopped pecans on bottom of pan.

3Melt 1 stick oleo in a double boiler; add light brown sugar.

4Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.

5Add 1 cup flour, salt and vanilla.

6Add beaten eggs; beat well.

7Pour over pecans in pan.

8Mix candied fruit; put evenly on top of other mixture.

9Bake 1 hour at 325°; you might need 10 minutes more.

10Let cool before cutting.
