- 1 doz. eggs
- 1 lb. brown sugar or 2 c.
- 1 lb. butter
- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 2 c. mixed candied fruit
- 1 box raisins
- 1 c. candied cherries (red and green)
- 1 box white raisins
- 1 c. nuts (optional)
Directions

1Combine eggs, sugar and butter (melted); mix well. Add flour. Mix well. Add vanilla. Add fruit, raisins and nuts; mix.

2Pour into ungreased angel food cake pan.

3Steam in a 6-quart canner with rack in bottom for 3 to 4 hours. Take off stove.

4Remove from pan.

5Cool overnight.

6Remove from pan.
