  • fresh or frozen fruit (approximately 1 qt.)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick margarine

Directions

    Place fruit on bottom of glass Pyrex dish.

    Sprinkle with water and 1/2 cup sugar.

    Mix flour and 1 cup sugar in bowl. Cut egg into dry ingredients until like coarse crumbs.

    Sprinkle over fruit.

    Melt margarine and pour over.

    Bake at 350° for approximately 40 minutes until topping is brown.
