  • 3 cans cherries or blueberries, peaches or apples, which have already been sweetened and thickened for pies (i.e., Comstock brand)
  • 1 pkg. white cake mix (such as Duncan Hines brand)
  • 1 to 1 1/4 c. nut meats
  • 1/4 c. melted butter

Directions

    Butter 9 x 12-inch or larger (10 x 14-inch preferably) pan. Open cans of fruit and pour in pan.

    Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over fruit, then nut meats on top of cake mix.

    Drizzle melted butter over top.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour (blueberries about 50 minutes) or until brown.
