  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 qt. heated fruit
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • peaches, cherries, strawberries or blackberries

    Melt margarine in a 9-inch square pan.

    Mix flour, sugar and milk.

    Beat well and pour over melted butter.

    Spoon fruit over batter using all of the juice.

    Bake at 375° about 30 minutes or until it browns on top.
