Taco Salad

Ingredients

  • small head of lettuce, cut up
  • 3 or 4 small tomatoes, cut up fine
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced thin
  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat, fried and drained
  • 1 medium bag unsalted chips
  • 2 pkg. taco seasoning
  • Pace picante sauce

Directions

    Fry meat well and drain.

    Place meat back in pan.

    Add taco seasoning in meat and water as directed on package.

    Let simmer on low heat until you have everything else ready.

    Put lettuce, tomatoes and bell pepper in large bowl or pan.

    Crush unsalted chips, not too small, and place over vegetables.

    Pour meat mixture over all and mix well.

    Serve with picante sauce to your taste.
