  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • fruit (peaches, berries, rhubarb, etc.)

Directions

    Melt butter in 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Mix flour, milk, sugar and baking powder.

    Pour on top of butter.

    Place fruit on top (any amount).

    Berries or rhubarb should be sweetened first.

    Bake at 375°, until butter comes up over fruit and browns on top (about 45 minutes).

    Best served same day.
