- 3/4 stick margarine
- 3/4 c. self-rising flour
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. canned milk
- 2 1/2 c. fruit
- 1 c. water
- dash of nutmeg and cinnamon
Directions

1Melt 3/4 stick margarine in 8 x 8-inch pan.

2Mix flour, 3/4 cup sugar and milk.

3Put this in pan with melted margarine.

4Do not stir.

5Then mix fruit, water and the other 1/2 cup sugar.

6Add spice to taste.

7Pour in pan with batter.

8Do not stir.

9Bake 45 minutes at 375°.
