Fruit Cocktail Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 can (16 oz.) fruit cocktail, juice too
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Mix all but last 3 ingredients together and pour into 8 x 8-inch greased pan.

    Sprinkle with brown sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon (mixed together).

    Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Can be served topped with Cool Whip or ice cream.
