  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1(No. 303) can fruit cocktail and juice
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. margarine

Directions

    Mix with spoon the sugar, fruit cocktail and juice, eggs, flour, soda and salt.

    Pour into greased 8 x 12-inch pan and sprinkle brown sugar and pecans on top.

    Bake 40 minutes at 350°. While cake is still hot, ice.
