  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can (No. 303) fruit cocktail
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. pecans or coconut or both

Directions

    Mix sugar, salt, flour, soda, eggs and fruit cocktail.

    Pour into greased loaf cake pan.

    Sprinkle brown sugar, pecans and/or coconut over top.

    Bake in 350° oven for 40 to 50 minutes.
