  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 egg
  • 2 c. fruit cocktail
  • 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. nuts

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients and add 1 beaten egg and drained fruit cocktail.

    Pour into buttered baking dish and sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts.

    Bake at 325° for 45 minutes in an 8-inch square baking dish.
